Long Island Dumplings is one of the shanghainese & dumplings listed in New York, New York. The business is registered at 513 6th Ave, New York, NY 10011; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in New York; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in New York are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 am–8:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (646) 952-2515. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is longislanddumplings.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 133 reviews, which is a strong result for a shanghainese in New York and suggests consistent service.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This place was not great. They used AI generated signs and posters to advertise their food, which was very offputting to me and is also very unethical and lazy marketing. There was no wifi, sadly. There is a kiosk where you can order, or you can order at the counter. Some of the food seems a bit pricey, especially considering how similar places price their food. They also ask for a tip at the kisok, which is strange considering this is not a sit down restaurant with servers. What am I tipping you for? There was not that many seats. I feel like they could add more if they removed the claw machine they had. I also noticed that they do not make the food in order, because many tickets that were made after mine were called and got their food well before me. I spent a good while wondering if they had forgotten my order altogether. The wait time was not great. The drink with dumplings combo was alright. The dumplings were crispy and had a very nice sauce, but the straw was too short to reach the cup unless you put your face in, but you couldn't because of the dumplings and sauce. The pork and rice dish was not good. It tasted off, kind of rancid if I'm being honest. The cabbage was disgus

No frills dumpling spot. Order at a kiosk, got our food quickly. All the dumplings were quite good, with the shrimp dumplings standing out as exceptional. Also ordered Char Sui Pork which was really good value at only $7. Tables were a little dirty but that's to be expected from a counter serve restaurant. Expect tasty dumplings at good value and not much else.
